Not bad, better as the film goes on.

He's an unlikable creep, very '90s. If not for the series of 'lovably flawed' roles he's done since, he could've made a career out of performances like this.
Love & Sex
He's dating Zooey Deschanel, kisses Amanda Peet.
Dies, Gay or Villain
No, no, sort of.
Cast
Tim Roth, Amanda Peet, Zooey Deschanel
Connection
Tim Roth in The Incredible Hulk
Time & Place
Present day (2004), Los Angeles.
Gossip
The house in this film belongs to Tobey Maguire. There was talk of turning Whatever We Do into a feature film, but that never materialized.
Availability
This film showed at Sundance and a few other small festivals. Never released for sale. Can be viewed online only.
Does It Hold Up
Not really. This was made for two reasons: because a bunch of celebrities were involved, and because a studio wanted to try putting a short film on the internet back when the idea of putting movies on the internet was new and novel (it's actually surprising that the version the studio posted on YouTube way back when is still there, but it is).
2 Reasons to See It
1. It's free (and legal!).
2. A little matter of a scene involving a kiss in the kitchen.
Overall
Plays like a flat vignette that wasn't good enough for Short Cuts. But it's hard to ignore how free and widely available this short film is.
